And THIS confirms exactly what I said earlier. The pussification of America by folks like you who okay weakness.

Did you read the entire post history on this? At 22 years old I had already spent 4 years in the US Army…so…22 year old me would’ve handled it appropriately.

Stop giving a ribbon for every try and defending cowardice.

What is your infatuation and consistent trend with homosexual references? Stop being a petulant ingrate despite your Alabama roots.

For F’s sake - where have I defended the nutcase?! He is an unstable assclown who was rightly charged for his behavior…done…story over.

AND…the 22 year old “kid” melted like butter and that is not okay. All of you nannies on here that can’t admit both are true are contributing to this dang pussified nanny state.

the captain is the biggest coward. you're calling out coward behavior. thus you should focus on the biggest coward actor of the story.

And likely the best badass you will ever see in your MFin life! Based on this thread I suspect the poster focusing on the younger dude is of the same ilk as the charter captain, well now a former captain. Badass indeed.

As a reminder to all:

Overkill indeed.

A few pages back, "Cancel Culture" was mentioned. What needs to be canceled is someone always blaming an innocent victim.

My career took me all over the world representing USA on economic issues. I got to meet and actually sometimes protected by Special Ops soldiers. With all due respect, take my word for it-this captain never once served in any capacity, however slight as a Special Ops individual. In fact, the real Ranger/Berets/Seals would pound this guy for his actions.

Roger, the board already knows what a badass hole you are, you don't need to keep on stressing the point.

Can't we be glad that he was not harmed and also lament the sad state of modern masculinity?

He was not taking a brave stand through principle, but rather was out of options and therefore begging and cowering in fear and weakness.
Seemed pathetic to me.
Again, I am thankful that his display of weakness was successful in preventing harm, but it also turned my stomach to witness the groveling.

I fully agree. Even at 16 he reacted like a complete wuss. The attack on masculinity in our society is to blame. The fact that a 22 year old acted like that after tuff talking back to the guy is pathetic. That's the popular GenX and older millennial view. I wouldn't be able to face my father if I ever acted like such a pussy. It's not like the psycho had a gun, knife, or sword. The "kid" needs to grow a pair.

Yes, biggest problem with today’s younger generation is that being a pussy has become normalized.

It's true and sickening.

To all the butt hurts out there I am not saying what happened was right and the aggressor shouldn't be punished.

Also, I have been in situations like and been on both sides of the arse whipping. Y'all need to stop watching Disney and turn on Blood Sport or Commando.
