Always thought they had a much nicer store that Academy, but you reap what you sow. Hope the top brass gets saddled w/ the rep of being left wing idiots.

Why do we hate Dick's sporting goods? I don't really like the store, but whats with the hive mind hate for them? I'm out of the loop....
I'm now aware, frick Dick's. I like my guns and my second amendment lol! Academy was always better TBH.

When I have “sporting goods” purchases to make, I no longer make them at DSG’s. Been that way for several years.
They are not desirous of my kind of consumer. So, I simply reciprocate their corporate rejection of my values and money.

They are super woke and got rid of their guns and ammunition, and most certainly the evil "Rifles of the Assault Variety." Store sucks though, Academy is much better. Dicks was a little more organized, atleast cosmetically, but Academy is the home of the baw.

They kick the shite out of Academy for golf. Stores are much cleaner, better organized, and usually not as trashy. Fewer trashy shoppers too from the 4 or 5 times I’ve been in the one here.
Academy definitely shows it the home of “the baw”.
I don’t know if that’s necessarily a marketing plus tho.

I just checked out their website and they still sell a few guns but not many. No handguns, and just a few shotguns and a few rifles. What’s the point of selling just a few guns? What kind of statement is that? . Stupid fricks are missing out on huge gun/ammo sales right now.

There is Edwin Watts for golf. Other than that Dicks is over priced shite. I will not miss them at all. Their fishing selection is the worst.

FYI don't visit Field and Stream stores either, they are also owned by DSG. That whole organization can go to hell.
