Great photos!
Was driving down the road awhile back and a barred owl flew up from the ditch and landed in a tree by the road. Turned around and drove back by and got a quick picture with my cell phone.

There were always ripped up cat carcasses in crazy spots - people thought it was a sick person or coyotes doing it - but I saw the owls grab a few and saw them eating them several times. even had one on my fence with a cat small enough it could fly off with in. I told several of the cat people this, it's ironic when their cats kill wildlife from lizards, frogs birds, snakes and squirrels it's JUST NATURE... but oh man when a coyote of raptor does it......

that shite drives me crazy. We have a full blown cat colony now, I'll be walking my dog in the morning and have to wait on cats to finish fricking in the street. I've trapped a few and brought them to the shelter. Wish some owls would get after them.

Owls can supposedly rotate their head 270 degrees for vision. Pretty awesome if true.

Let the dog out to do his business this Am around 5-5:30. Heard one of these bad boys just to the south of me.

Saw one over by 28W last year sitting in a pine tree around 8am.
Hadn’t seen one in a long time, but saw them growing up fairly often

I had a nesting pair here and I played dying rabbit call once. They swooped out from the woods late evening and circled my speaker. One landed very close to it in a tree. They were real interested

Thanks for video! I hear an owl in our area from time to time but I've never seen it.
