Grand isle surf looks calm this morning...

grand isle beach cam always gets me jonesing for some surf fishing action. That is all.

dang right... when I was young and poor we would primitive tent camp on Fourchon beach and eat fresh trout for breakfast, lunch and dinner

The only time grand ilses surf is calm is when I'm at home... Everytime I go it's a... Uhh... I guess my username materializes around me....

Was there on Thursday and it was slick and clear. Caught a 2-man limit on Vudu.

We were fishing off the highway down there today. Talked to a few guys who had been fishing off the beach earlier and said they didn’t catch anything

After Monday looks like the wind will steadily pick up, peaking on Friday and Saturday to celebrate the opening of snapper season. Those sharks are going to have to feed themselves.

My son only caught five keeper trout.
Last time we went down in February we came home with 10 nice redfish.

I’m going to bring the crab nets next time we go
