Scared to go to the OT with this one , figured y'all had a better idea on things to do; we're all outdoor guys...Going on my bachelor party beginning of April, headed to Pigeon forge area, we have a cabin booked. There's 8 guys going, were hoping to do the usual rafting, fishing, drink drank drunk what else do you guys know of around there. Also, what are some good grooms-man gifts ya'll have received over the years that you actually use/appreciated?

Hubby went to Memphis for his bday a couple years back. His uncle took them to some buck nekkid titty bar, said they had a blast.

Not sure what they have around that area.. May want to check craigslist so the entertainment can come to you

Engraved pocket knives. You can find them on eBay for pretty cheap.

I went to Gatlinburg at least once a year with my family for 7 or 8 years straight, but it's been a while since I've been.

That's pretty much it. 99% of the area is stupid tourist bullshite, so stick to these three. There's some decent restaurants in Gatlinburg. The only one I can remember was called the Peddler I think.

The Smokies minor league baseball games are always a blast, I believe they start right around the time you'll be there. As far as the outdoors go you're definitely in one of the gretaest areas east of the mississppi river so there should be endless options. If you interested in some amazing Mountain top views/hikes let me know and I I'd be glad to send you some info.

As far as the Gifts go, Flasks with Names/Initals and the date of the bachelors party is a suggestion

Blow and Pigeon Forge should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

We did this a few years ago. We rafted one day and paintballed one day (paintball is a bp staple for us). Other than that just general tomfoolery around the cabin.

See if you can find a pancake place to eat at. Pancakes are great up there.

The bachelorette of our bachelor alerted me of this thread we'll take care of him, no doubt. Hookers and blow are reserved and waiting on us! He need not worry, we've (I've) got it under control!

Yeah, that was Platinum Plus. I've had many tell me it was one of the best in the country. Only made it there a couple of times. Sadly it shut down a few years ago.
