Anyone on the Outdoor Board have one? Seriously considering one for my next (and hopefully last) boat purchase. I've been researching them for a while and like what I see. Hoping some of yall have some real world experience with them. Were they easy to work with? How does the boat ride/perform?

TIA

I'm interested in this as well. Called them today, going Friday to design my boat.

Go have one built by Uncle J. Better quality and pricing.

Can’t beat uncle J. Getting one built right now and he’s without a doubt the best custom aluminum boat builder out there....

I fished on Chad Billiots boat that he had built by Gator Trax, it was his 26' Chandeleur Island Series. Its nothing fancy but he laid it out well and its a tank. He has a 250 on it and it got on step fast and rode pretty well in the Gulf Chop. We also fished some pretty shallow spots in the marsh with it.

When we got back I checked out his "flats boat" that Gator Trax also built. Again, nothing fancy but a well laid out load.

Inwoykdnt hesitate to have Gator Trax build me a boat.

Took a look at them. Seems they make a nice bay boat, but didn't see any bass boats listed. GatorTrax Strike Series is specifically a bass boat.

There’s a few guys with strike series boats in the gator Trax owners Facebook page. I haven’t heard anyone who was disappointed with theirs. They look really slick.

Jason will build you anything you want. The first time I ever talked to him he told me he can build anything I wan’t as long as I write him the check. He said if I wanted purple dildo’s all over the boat he’d do it for me. He’s a funny arse dude and all round good genuine person. I’ve never had him miss a call from me he’s always on the ball and easy to work with. I’d highly suggest them for building your rig.

Jason will also let you know if something might not work the way you think it will, rather than being a yes man that has an unhappy customer two to three years down the road. I wanted seat bases in the floor of the boat for hunting and he explained the cons to that and I'm glad he did. I also took out a concrete bollard with the side of my uncle J boat, the concrete broke and the boat just has a scratch.

I have 1 of the 1st boats Jason built when he was still building them in his driveway around 2010 or so. Like others have said he will build anything you want any way you want it.

I had put an add on MMT looking for a used boat with my price range and he messaged me and told me he could build me a new boat for less, and he did! When I met the guy he was so friendly that I thought he was fake. Turns out he was just that nice of a guy.

Does Uncle J make a serious bass boat? What he’s asking about is a sure enough tournament rig. Keith Poche is running one.

That's what I'm looking for. I'm in Birmingham and don't have the same boat needs that yall do down there. I've never driven a boat on the ocean and don't plan on it.

I'm just curious why get a high end Aluminum for bass fishing? Not knocking it, do you just want a new boat and its cheaper then a "glitter" boat?

Never heard of that company, but they look solid. Uncle J boats look badarse too.

Wow! I was on a 18 week waiting list starting July/2020 and thought that was a long time! It was well worth the wait! Jason is easy to deal with and addressed the few minor issues I had immediately.

Yeah, it’s a long time. But I haven’t heard a single cross thing anyone has said about him or his boats.
