But if you live in that state, get a lifetime license , and then move out of the state. They will still honor the license.
That's how I have an AL lifetime license living in TN. I may see about trying to use my grandmother's address to buy AL lifetimes for my kids

Wow those prices are outrageous.
Here in Ohio fishing licenses are reasonably priced:
Resident Licenses
Resident 1-Day License....$14.00
Resident 1-Year Upgraded from a 1-Day License* (see below)....$12.00
Resident 1-Year License....$25.00
Resident 3-Year License....$72.11
Resident 5-Year License....$120.18
Resident 10-Year License....$240.36
Resident Lifetime License....$599.04
And
Persons under 16 years of age are not required to purchase a fishing license.

Meanwhile Texas is 1,800 fricking dollars, no matter your age.
It takes 25 or 26 years of buying the supercombo to break even.
Ridiculous.
Not if you're about to move out of the state.
I picked up a lifetime hunting for TX for 1k before i moved back to LA.
Since I'd be getting an out-of-state licence ($300) only takes 4 years to break even.

Lifetime license
This gets you to the page with all of the info but there isn't a simple plug in what you need and pay online option.

I was just about to ask if anyone has been able to get a second state's Lifetime license after moving, or if they somehow disqualify you from doing that.
I had to be a Mississippi resident for 18 months before I could apply.

I am about to do this for my girls. If I am doing a combo, is a Hunter Ed number even possible for a 6 and 4 year old? Is the bureaucrat at the desk gonna cause trouble?
Posted on 4/8/22 at 8:57 am to TigerTatorTots
I bought for $500 right before I moved to Texas. Shooting 1 deer in LA afterwards almost paid for the license.

Need to provide a birth certificate. Don't see a way around it. Sending my son's off today.

Leave it blank. Can be added later on a duplicate.
