Can anyone tell me the process for seasoning pork ribs that are fried? Ate one Friday afternoon and is was off the chain good. Would like to fry some up this weekend for a snack.

I would smoke them a couple hours for more flavor and tenderness, then throw in da grease.

I’ve been wanting to try this but never got around to it. Yet

They are delicious. It is like a cracklin but with hardly any fat. I have done them in the air fryer and they were pretty darn good.

We use a Tony’s type seasoning & put in oil less fryer

Eat them with hot biscuits & syrup

One of my best friends has a catering business in Lake Charles and he sells plate lunches. He does fried ribs on Fridays. I have helped him out quite a bit and I have watched him fry ribs. He cuts them up the night before and seasons them. Day of he just batters and frys them.

Ju'Elles Catering. They are on waitr too.

I used to boil them in crab boil/salt until tender then batter and fry them up.

My brother-in-law from Crowley boils his in water then sprinkles tony's on the outside before frying.

That looks amazingly good. Call me next time you do them and I'll be sure to bring more beer than you can drink..

The first time I ate one I was fishing out of Hebert's on Big Lake. We came in late from fishing all day, starving to death, and went to that little restaurant at Hebert's Marina. They were about to close, but when we told them how hungry we were they were gracious enough to cook us something. Due to how close they were to closing, one of the few things they offered to cook us was fried ribs. So I decided to try one and ended up eating myself stupid. I meant to ask the cook if they did anything special, like boiling the ribs, but was so full and tired, all I could think of was hitting the sack. Left a hell of a tip that was much deserved.

dash of salt, paprika, (cayenne optional) and black pepper in your flour, fry them in a cast iron skillet with lard, crisco, or vegetable oil Then serve with sausage gravy, butterbeans, and biscuits.
