They usually do. I don't like the 2 part headlights on the Chevy. The auto industries fascination with chrome is baffling to me. People clearly like the painted to match parts way better.

Neither of those look too chromed to me, but the 2012 and 2013 silverados do with the chrome bumper ends and lightly painted insert.

I think they should go back and update the 02-07 Sierra and go with that.

Well, chrome and unpainted plastic. Except that the chrome doesn't get sun damaged like the plastic does.
