Which is the problem for GM...
The truck game is for high stakes and GM stood pat. Big mistake as Ford will continue to take market share.

I hate the door sound on my F250 and you're right about the seats. Seats in the Ford are good, but GM's are really excellent.
I disagree about the ergonomics; look at a Tundra for really strange interior ergonomics.

Again, I don't really see where Ford is leaps and bounds better, but more power to people who like their trucks.

Hate the backup cam being located on the dash. Having it on the rear view mirror is nice so that you don't have to keep moving your head up and down from the mirror to the dash.

Ford is way ahead, right now.

I've actually heard nothing but bad about Sync. Ford had lots of issues with it when it was first released and it is supposedly still glitchy. Every review of a Ford product that came equipped with it noted Sync as one of the biggest weaknesses.
New GM's look great, don't like the Chevy front end. Also don't care for the center stack (still looks cheap...on the Chevy)...really digging that gauge cluster though. Early reviews on this truck have been favorable saying it may not look like much has changed but it's head and shoulders above the outgoing GM/chevy.
ETA: I may be thinking of MyFordTouch...it's the Sony system no one likes, not sure what they call it.

Sync is the class of the field and is a huge selling point for Ford.

I did a quick googl search...it was the My Ford Touch system. It was so bad on initial release that it dropped Fords overall JD Power rating.
I've heard GM's new CUE is pretty good.

The commands seemed to work pretty well when I was trying them out today. You can also access a good bit of the media and things from the 4.2" screen near the guages and control it from steering wheel controls. I think they have a lot of the same things as Ford as for as functionality goes now so I think they've more or less caught up with this model, but I'll be curious to see how much Ford changes things up and upgrades on their next big remodel in '15.
