We’re planting this weekend in Port Gibson.

I went check on my plots. I have some clover and oats coming up but its so few due to the lack of rain.
Need this rain to make it pop!

Just curious where?

Planted on Oct 9th
On Sat there is absolutely nothing coming up yet. We got a rain a couple of weeks ago but where we got a good rain at my house, my farm (50 miles east) got very little.

We’re in Hermanville off of 548. About 15 mins east of Port Gibson.

Rain coming on Friday boys!!
I disced and prepped my plots last weekend with plans to plant next weekend,,,, but if the forecast holds I’m skipping work Thursday and planting ahead of the rain
We’re doing the rain dance in Wilkinson County!

Precisely why I haven't mentioned it.

Same area. I planted my disced plots last weekend and I'm hitting the no-till plots tomorrow. It's now or never. I'm tired of watching the forecast like it's a Catscan. Time to get the seed out and start hunting. NFW I'm dicking around with seed during Thanksgiving.

We’re going to spread the last of our wheat when I get off stand. Hoping for a good rain on Friday.

It's almost funny how desperately I'm watching the forecast. National Weather Service has a 50% chance of rain for my area on Friday. Weather Underground says 59%. AccuWeather says 91%. So of course I choose to believe AccuWeather.....

I check the weather models on tropical tidbits multiple times a day ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I wish I could drill plant ours.

Same here. We planted over 20 acres a few weeks ago in catahoula parish. Nothing has germinated yet. Phone app shows 50% Friday. Accuweather shows 60% Thursday night and 91% Friday. Hope accuweather is correct.

We planted today for the 2nd time. First round of clover barely came up and then died off. Going with just wheat this time in hopes to get at least something up.

I threw seed out like napalm over the last 5 days.

I’m too exhausted from washing my truck, planning an outdoor bbq for tomorrow and doing a rain dance to say a word......

Raining in Amite county.

I got my seeds in the ground yesterday and woke up this morning to the sound of rain on a tin roof. Forecast calls for light rain for the next three days and then a heavy rain Monday night. Just about perfect.....

Shhhhhhhhhh. Now go outside and dance!
