I’m in my 50’s and don’t understand swamp trash dialect. Little Boys like you are what I have been talking about.

That old man definitely has some brush piles that he considers his private property.

Can’t watch the video but can imagine what happened.

I don’t like fishing people’s dock if they are around it but if it’s the middle of the week and nobody is there you bet your arse I’m gonna fish it. As long as you aren’t up on it they can’t do anything about it

Not sure where this was, but here in the SIP, water is owned by the state. As long as they stay in their boat they are legal.

I can tell you that it is a little aggravating when you are fishing from your dock, under your light, and some inconsiderate fisherman comes rolling in with a boat casting under the light.

If you are actively fishing on your dock and they come to fish it too, then they are definitely being assholes.

Hell if I see someone just sitting on their dock I’ll normally pass by them and go to the next one.

People who have property on public waterways then get mad that someone is fishing around their docks from their boats, probably should not own property on a public waterway.

I know.

That came from the OT Ukraine thread.

I felt bad for the Russian trying to start that motor with explosions going off all around him. A real pure nightmare scenario. When you can't get a motor to start and you actually brutally die . . .

This; just use a little common sense and courtesy. People fish my dock all the time; I don't care. If they were rude enough to fish it while I was fishing from it I'd probably just start dropping firecrackers in the water, but I've never had that issue.

I'm definitely not waiving a gun around to catch a charge.

You can’t own any public water way or any portion of it, ever and never has anyone ever been able to do so. You also can’t privatize any public waterway or lake by attempting to destroy any and all public access to it.

There are also no suck thing as a GD private reef, you don’t own it once you sink it. It becomes property of the state or the feds. They can blown it up move it at will. Private reef simply means the numbers aren’t supposed to be publicly available, that’s it . Every single one of them will be found eventually by someone.

People seriously need to chill and understand this, otherwise they should have their fishing rights permanently removed.

I have a buddy with a light on Dog River in Alabama and we regularly bow fish for gar on all the other lights on the river and often encounter other fisherman and dock owners. Never have me ever had a single issue.

If someone is on a dock we stay away but often speak to them and tell what we are seeing, etc.
Maybe because everyone knows we are just shooting gar which is a public good, and respectful of everyone but never had an issue

Should have got him on assault.
Gave that old fart more legal troubles which will make him think twice next time.

I have a house on a lake.
I have a dock that goes out in the lake.
I don’t own the lake.
Do have some brush piles around it.
If someone fished it and catches a fish more power to them.
It is apart of living on a lake with a dock.
