First bass of 2019 is solid.

Rain let up yesterday about 2 pm, so I went to a nearby lake just to run my boat and make sure everything is running good.
White perch fished for about an hour and got no bites. Picked up a spinner bait and caught this one in about 3 minutes.
I had the kids with me so obviously they wanted to start fishing. Spent the next hour keeping them untangled.
It's all good though. Great start to the fishing season.

Nice fish! I caught my first bass of the year yesterday, as well. He was only about 14in, but it felt really nice to set the hook.

Yeah, she was full of eggs. We let her go after a couple of pics.
I was wanting to catch a couple of white perch for dinner, but that didn't work out.
