Happens every weekend. I usually take pictures of them and post it on FB. While trolling a bank, had someone cut us off and THROW their anchor down in front of us. Columbia shirts, buffs, big wide hats, huge bug eyed glasses and two powerpoles.... but still has to throw out a mushroom anchor.

Say what you want but I acquired a buff free of charge and it has saved me big time on numerous occasions. Hate being sunburned.

I used to laugh at the buff wearers until I tried one. I use it mainly help with the gnats and skeeters, but keeping the sun off my neck is a bonus.

They are very handy for gnats / sun / cooling off and they are like $10. Not sure why they get so much hate.

I had a guide who pulled up 40 yds from me when I am the only boat fishing within miles couple weekends ago. He is know for taking pictures of other people and posting them on sportsman, should have took his picture and posted them in retaliation. lol

I don't understand the hate for everything. shite, there are community holes everywhere, I promise you were not the first one to catch a fish in one of em. So when people pull in on you or near you it really should be expected.
Some are like me, if you ask me about freshwater stuff, I am pretty good. If you start screaming at me 'marlin left teaser' and expect me to know what I am doing, we both have a problem!!!! But I know now.
This shite is supposed to be fun.
Now are there some assholes, of course, but the vast majority of what seems to get people upset is just sharing the water type stuff.

Its always been understood the saltwater fisherman are the trash of the water

I don't think people have a problem with sharing the water. All the rigs and bays that I fish, you're going to run into other boats, that's just the nature of the beast. It's when people don't have common courtesy or common sense things heat up. Cutting people off, throwing anchors, crowding people...those are the things that piss people off, and they should.
It's not an issue if someone comes in slow and trolls in to fish the same flock of birds, or the same rig. Just don't spook the fish and don't get too close, especially right away. Make a lap around the rig and try and find some fish in a different spot. If nothing, it's ok to position yourself to fish in the water next to me.
Years ago, when the black tank was hot, there would be 20 boats anchored around it and they would all be catching fish. Hardly ever had any problems. If that many people can work together and not piss each other off too bad, it shouldn't happen with just a couple boats in an area.
