other than the jerky I make at home using sirloin steak and dehydrated in a smoker with hickory/apple chips. I like Bourgeois' meat market in Thibodaux.
If I can't get that then Jack Links teriyaki is my goto jerky. With all this said, I try to never run out of my homemade.

Few years ago I bought some Jack Links and was looking at label on back and it had Chinese writing.Threw it away and I’ve never bought anymore. At some point they took the Chinese writing off but I bet that’s where it’s made.

I made some a couple months back for my first time out of a brisket flat and it turned out real good. Been wanting to do it again. Pretty easy too.

I started making my own snack sticks since I bought the meat your maker grinder last month. Smoked them and dried a little longer in the oven. Deer/pork. They are better then slim jim.

Bucees has some cajun jerky that will make you fight someone for another bite. Expensive though

A friend of mine and I own property in south Texas for deer hunting. We travel Texas Hwy 59 usually six to eight times a year and pass by both Juniors in Wharton Tx. and Prasek's smoke house. I prefer Juniors and my friend prefers Prasek's. They aren't far apart.

We stop at both places to load up on jerky and BBQ stuff going and coming back to La. I haven't found anything here compares including Bourgeois in Thib. .
