I don't rub with the 35s, and am an advocate of as low as possible. Don't need a lift to fit 35s, and I think it looks better with those tires and no lift

I am the opposite. I like room to articulate and tuck the wheel into the wheel well. I dont rag my truck hard offroad but I need the suspension for our farm.

I lurked the stuck thread. I had nothing to offer other than negative commentary so I stayed silent.

If you would have had 10" you wouldn't have gotten stuck.

I believe so. I know that the ARPs are similar, just different materials. Stock head gaskets are actually really tough and better than anything offered by the aftermarket. I blew mine out on two cylinders, and it was an interior blow out, not one exiting the heads.

I think the principal behind TTY bolts is that the stretch holds them tight basically like a lock washer. They are affected by heating and cooling cycles like every metal and eventually open up and when you are pushing in 60lbs of boost, they can't handle it. After reading a little more on the bolts, I was supposed to let them warm up completely before using more than 1/4 throttle, and let the truck sit and run for a while before shutting it off for them to cool down

That's how normal bolts work. Once you yield them they loose that springyness. You're getting out of the elastic range and are permanently deforming the bolt. I see nothing but disadvantages to TTY bolts. I'm sure ford's engineers know much more than me about bolts, but I just don't get them.

Boggers don't make the man, the man makes Boggers. Those things move so much mud, it is easy to get stuck if you aren't careful with the throttle. It's not always wide open with them, believe it or not

Just a 2.5" Ready Lift. So coil spacers up front and taller blocks in the rear. So a cheap lift with the same articulation/ride as stock. It tucks the 35's(I could fit 37's) just fine. If you're looking for better flex this lift isn't for you, it's mainly for looks.

I don't like it.

I understand their explanation, but I don't like the idea of TTY bolts at all. I don't like yielding things and then trusting them. If you tension the bolt more after its torqued you're going further into the plastic range and once you're past yield you cannot go backwards on the curve.

I don't like em.

To my knowledge browsing the powerstroke forums I'm not familiar with any head stud/gasket issues on the 6.7, yet anyway. I'm still waiting the see H&S grenade their 6.7.

I just got my F150 so I am a few years away but it dont hurt to window shop. What series Ready Lift did you go with? My cousin has the 2.5" and small rear block but I forget what series.

I think 4" BDS long arm and 295/65/20 would be the tits.

What about maintence, fuel additives, etc. on the new diesels ??

at that little use. with the marginal difference in fuel mileage, it would take forever to recoup your money with the price difference between diesel Fuel and Gasoline...

The Stage II kit. I think Stage I it just front spacers and shock extensions, stageII is the front spacers, rear blocks, and shock extensions, and Stage III is everything listed in II plus a track bar relocation bracket. I'd eventually love to upgrade to a proper lift, about 4" or so.

I gotcha.

This is a BDS 4" lift and 35"s. The look I want minus the rims. Give me factory rims any day.
