We have lots of turkeys. None of the current members have ever hunted turkeys there. Just not our thing. They used to, 30 years ago, but not since then.

It could be as much as a regular membership if I am the only member hunting them. I have no interest in deer hunting at all. If you give me your email we can discuss further.

We can take two bucks, but we usually don't. Usually one. We are allowed six deer total. We generally try to limit to three.

Are you still seeking new members. I’m in my mid 60’s , moved back to NWLa as primary caregiver for elderly parent. With a sitter here weekdays , I cover for mom most weekends, I’d be very interested. I grew up hunting Tensas, enjoy a little meat in the fridge.
Horns on the wall are nice , watching that big boy work the wind, to check his scrap and beating his nose in his living room… that’s a picture in your mind that is priceless.

Sidetrack, is there decent duck hunting in Southwest Akransas? I know all about the delta side, but I met a guy who has a duck and deer camp somewhere within an hour and a half from Shreveport and it got me pondering.

No this was a potential employer I was interviewing with for after school and he seemed like a super nice guy and brought up duck hunting in the interview and we got off on that subject for a good while. Idk him personally, or well, but it got me wondering about if you lived in the Shreve area, if Arkansas hunting leases within an hour and a half were decent for ducks. I know there are decent whitetail all over La/Ark/Tx, and while wherever I end up, I'll be hunting deer, but I am a bit duck crazy and as crazy as it sounds, I want to try to end up working somewhere close to where I can duck hunt.
