These guys came in and spoke at my CHL class. For me and my wife, it's like $28 a month. These guys cover your defense for grand jury, criminal trial and civil suit trial. No extra cost to you. No retainer fees, nothing.

All they handle is cases where someone discharges their firearm. Hopefully I never need them, but I'm glad they are there.

They have multi state coverage too. I think it's like 14 states right now including Louisiana. We go back often to visit family so it's nice to be covered there too.

If i'm not mistaken (and I very well may be) the NRA has lawyers available as well.

And $28 seems to be a little steep for insurance.

The NRA only covers like %25 of your legal fees. Try getting a good lawyer on retainer. $28 a month is peanuts. This is for both me and my wife.

Think about how much money you could lose in a civil case even if your shooting was 100% justified. $28 is miniscule in comparison to that.

Then again, as a broke college student, I wouldn't want to get on something like that until I have a steady cash flow, so I can understand where you're coming from.

Agreed. I bought the Texas Law Shield year contract that locks in the fees for life. Hopefully I'll never need to use it, but if so it's good to know that I'm covered.

All relative.

I'm fine with my NRA coverage and local 2A attorney.

I have this product for me and the Ms. Nimble.

It also has an option for the coverage in other states.

They also have a pdf pamphlet that shows when it is legally justified to shoot in the Republic of Texas.
