Yes, but this is for someone that can't afford Heart Guard. My daughter gives me just enough for my two dogs.

I'm just emphasizing the 0.1 CC part.

Dosing every 21 days is recommended, do not give to any collie breeds.

Been using the 0.1cc per 10lbs for 15 years. Dogs always tested negative

Check out pet-i-supply.com

I've been using them for about 8 years now. Never had an issue and they have great prices. it may take about 4 weeks to come in, but its always came in for me.

This! Get a skinny syringe, draw recommended dosage and squirt on a piece of bread before feeding. This is my only method and works fine.

My father in law had deer dogs for 40 years. He used this and taught me. Be using it in my retrievers for 15 years. Only thing different is that we break the monthly dose in half and give half on the 1st and half on the 15th. Not one dog has had an issue. I know one guy who had a positive test. He used the every 30 days method. He missed a month here and there and a dog turned up positive.

If you use heartguard, read this. There are multiple documented heartworm breakthroughs with the public as well as in the laboratory.

I order Nexgard Spectra from this website. I buy the dose for dogs twice the size of mine and cut them in half to save money.

Covers ticks, flees, and heartworms. Got tired of buying 2 separate meds to cover fleas/worms and then ticks, and this is the only thing on the market that I’m aware of which covers all 3.

At one time I required owners to supply their own HW treatment and most brought HG. When dogs don’t chew them up they will come out in a turd almost whole. Those dogs got a dose of liquid ivermectin.
Dog houses are a huge mosquito magnet that doesn’t help with HW prevention imo.

Will this help get rid of heart worms if they test positive?

It will definitely kill the worms. If the dog is ate up with them it might kill the dog too.
