I’ve talked to a very nice man in SA who breeds Chesapeake’s. Easy to find , just Google Chesapeake bay retriever, San Antonio, his last name is Blizzard . See if you can find the test that tells you if you should have a Cheesie . Pretty funny and true .

I’ve seen his website. Don’t need a gun dog but we will see

A sliver lab crossed to a pit bull for 350$ is the only answer. Chessies can be very strong willed but if you can get through to them they have a ton of drive and make a great companion.

Yeah I’m not buying anything mixed with a pitbull

Yep Chesapeake’s can be hard headed but if you have patience they can be very loyal to you and your family. You won’t have to worry about the house cause they get a kick out of keeping people in the car until you say so

Hell you can have anything.
I’d want a lab. That much room tibroam will keep them out of trouble. Or a German shorthair, cur, heeler

I have also been looking at a catahoula cur. Any of y’all have experience with them?

Get a Mountain Feist.
They are a blast.

I predict labapits are the next big designer mutt to hit the designer mutt scene. Prollly sell for 3500, lol.
With that big of a place if you ride fence lines or property lines periodically you may want to go with a blue heeler or something with a ton of drive.

I'm guessing if you have had 2 Australian Shepherds, that you may have a large property. If so, Great Pyrennees. I don't have enough room for one, but I have two friends that have them and they are both awesome.

If you want an inside dog and can afford one, English Bulldog is my suggestion. Seriously, they have to be inside dogs. Can’t do the heat. They, at least mine have been, are the sweetest dogs in the world. Great with kids. Plus when you take them places, people love to come up and let them. Wouldn’t want anything other than a Bulldog

Australian Cattle Dog. Extremely loyal, but you have to let them run and give them things to do.

Doberman and dont crop the ears.

Standard poodle. Don't shed and are extremely smart. Real men have poodles.

Great Danes do make great pets. But choose a pet that fits your lifestyle. Big yard? Small apartment? Activity level? Healthy breed? Allergies for human and pet? Short haired dog? Grooming? Terriers tend to be strong willed and required grooming. Poodles are highly intelligent and don't shed, but require grooming also. The larger the dog, generally, the shorter the lifespan. And if you can, rescue a pup. They are forever appreciative. Good luck

Lab any color but I like the blacks. Currently have an English Cream but the shedding and the white coat is a bit of a pain.
My wife (we) have a Biewer Terrier while they look fancy he mixes it up pretty well with our English Cream Retriever and our minpin and is not annoying as they sound/look.
