That one on the right has got a gnarly set of antlers. Would make a cool mount.

As for your question, during deer season, yes a kayak will work. Haha

Take a big inter tube with you and tie the deer to that and pull behind your kayak. That way you won’t Sink the yak.

Or if worried about green jeans...tie a cinder block to him and a rope and drag him behind the yak

I’ve done some stupid things in my life. But for some reason, I’m too much of a wuss to take that chance.

I’ll be nice and get ya in the general vicinity.
There are some huge bucks around that lake I just never taking the time to actually scout the public land.

Get yourself a flatback canoe with a small outboard or even a trolling motor. Make short work of the whole deal.

Thats an Old Town Sportsman 15. Weighs 118lbs.

The Suzuki 2.5hp motor is 29lbs and will push that about 7 mph.

Water was stained with all the heavy rain last week , but hopefully it will be a lot clearer when you fish. Fishing was fine in the mornings and late evenings. My cousin did catch a 4.5lb bass on top water.
If you want to go after stripers, go to the East part of the lake and use live bait.

Don't be surprised when there's a coonass in each of those trees come November.
