Bought one last week when AlxTgr posted it. I had a spare rod. Strung it up with some 14 lbs Trilene. It is now my son’s new rod n reel.
I rigged it up with a tx rig worm and dialed it in. Works just fine and is pretty smooth. If my son breaks it or loses it, I’m only out $30.
ETA: They also have the Maverick rod on there for $49. I’m considering getting that one too. Just don’t know what I would use it for. 7’ Heavy Fast.

Mine came in last week. Wrong color but right ratio so no harm no foul.

I have trouble casting anything but really heavy lures with anything over MH.
