I have an 06 GMC Sierra that has been really good but when I’m ready to buy I’ll be going look at the RAM first! Unless I wait long enough for GM to come out with their small block diesel.

Don't ever buy the first model year of a new vehicle unless you like being a guinea pig. Wait at least two years

Crazy how they totally went away from using “Dodge” to describe their trucks. I owned an 04 5.9 Cummins and my brother an 06 and 07. All three were crap trucks except for their engines. I’m sure they have improved but we pretty much only run Ford nowadays

Funny. I had a 94,07 and now an 18.

94 was traded in for the 07, nothing wrong with it other than the dreaded cracked dash.

Had the 07 11 years, not one problem, traded it in on the 18 because I wanted newer.

The 07 was sold to a local guy and he is using it and hasn't had any issues either.

Ram is alot better brand than they are given credit for. All manufacturers have bad trucks and duds in the models. It happens.

I will say Ram has come a long way since my 94 but no real complaints from me as all 3 of mine have held up great. We shall see how the 18 does

Im not sure on longevity, but they ride like a brick. Longevity probably should matter more but my dads new dodge and the one I test drove in 2016 was awful.

Thats one thing I love about the f150, that thing rides like a caddy.

I'd think you could find a 13-14 (not the newest body style) f150 with a nice package for 20k or less. Multiple motor options too. I love my ecoboost.

I'd at least give them a shot.

On the pensacola audi site, there is a link to the carfax report. It appears to be a local trade.

I own a 2017 BigHorn w/ 5.7 and 8spd, coming up on 30K miles. Very happy so far.

had a couple GM reps come by our dealership this morning for a side by side comparison on Ram, Denali, and a Platinum F150. There are things to like about each truck but some of the negative things that stuck out about the Ram was the flimsy metal. if you get the chance to tap around the hood/fender of the Ram/Denali youll see a glaring difference in the quality of metal used. you can literally bend/wiggle the hood and fender/take the decal off with your hand. for a 60k+ truck it was surprising to see. I love the interior but you can see how that big arse Tesla screen could be distracting. FWIW I think they did a good job with the redesign overall

Interior has more rattles than my old truck did. Front axle intermittently sounds like it's full of rocks. Haven't figured out how to duplicate that yet. Clunks and jerks violently if you give it a little gas while coasting.

I test drove a new f150 and then the new Ram and I can tell you by far, the Ram is a much better riding vehicle.
