The real question is, where are all of the rifles and mags going when they pull them off the shelves?
Oh you can bet your sweet bippy they're gonna be sold SOMEWHERE....just not for profiting DSG. And I'm fine with that. DSG will probably auction off or let another retailer buy their stock.
I was just on FB making sure all the liberals knew of how DSG operates..and that DSG did this same tactic and began re-selling ARs and high cap mags after the Newtown stuff settled down. If DSG wants to play politics...they need to know the consequences.

Might be worth a title edit to actually take the half second to spell out Dicks Sporting Goods, DSG arms is a great company.

This for DSG. Please just refer the subject company as Dicks.

Dick's, BassPro, Academy, GanderMtn...stopped bothering with these places years ago. They sell nothing I can't order from am online retailer for less. Last time I tried to give Dick's a chance was when I wanted a few cases of 12ga target loads for a last minute range trip, may as well had gone to a Walmart.

I don't think the one in BR ever sold them. All I've ever seen there was shotguns and a few rifle I think. They did sell hang gun and 5.56 ammo.

Pandering to liberals that don't go anywhere near the firearms/hunting department at Dick's and will have forgotten about this shite in a few weeks at the expense of hunters/sportsmen who will remember this for a long time. Sound business strategy there. Good thing there's an Academy half a mile down the road from my local Dick's

I thought you meant DSG Arms. I buy a crap load of AR parts from them.

I don't know how F&S in Lafayette stays open. There's always people in there, but I never see anyone buying anything. Their prices are sky high on everything.

Academy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dicks

While I regularly use Academy Sports myself for various reasons....a year or so ago they did sort of the same thing for a period of time after a shooting (I forget which one now). In a sense it was even worse as they pulled all the AR guns (or anything that looked the part of assault weapon) off the shelves but they were still available to purchase. I mean damn...gonna pull them to appease passerby people but hey we will still sell them to you if you want them. I don;t know, maybe just me but struck me wrong.

I have a $50 dollar gift card for there. What should I buy now?

Who cares? Dicks can sell what they want to sell. If you want to buy something else, go somewhere else.
Snowflakes want to dictate to a private company what it chooses to sell. Get a fricking grip.

Anyone who is boycotting a store that is trying to reduce whackjobs from shooting shite up needs to get a grip on life. If anything they've earned more of my business.

So when a guy had 10 round magazines and a pistol kill 32 at a Virginia Tech would you support a company to stop selling semi auto pistols and 10 round magazines?

I bet your opinion would be a lot different if you or someone you knew or cared about was on va tech’s campus on that terrible day.

I fail to grasp how this is “declaring war” on customers?
Did you think it was “declaring war” when McDonald’s decided to quote selling the Big n Tasty?
Quit fricking overreacting. That’s what women do

When McDonald's released a statement announcing that their stores wouldn't be selling the Big n Tasty anymore, did they also call on elected officials to outlaw similar types of hamburgers?
ETA: Dick's didn't just announce they would stop selling AR's and certain accessories, but they also called on politicians to ban them completely. They went beyond just changing their own stores' policies and jumped into a political fracas with a stance that a vast majority of hunters that shopped at Dick's have strong opinions to the contrary on.
