No more AR-15s in F&S stores, no more "high capacity" magazines, no gun sales to anyone under 21, and a plea for lawmakers to drasrically restrict purchases federally.

Don't buy one iota of the bullshite lines about sympathy for victims, because buried in the article

quote:

The company soon discovered it had legally sold a gun to Mr. Cruz in November, though it was not the gun or type of gun used in the school shooting.

Same deal as Newtown. They sold one of the guns used there and couldn't stand the thought of their logo being on the news next to it.

lol, appease people that don’t shop at your store at the expense of those who do.

Wonderful strategy.

I fully support a private business making political decisions, just as a I support the public's right to hold them accountable.

Even if you are open to new gun legislation, as I am - particularly opening up NICS for use from private sellers, the hypocrisy is stomach churning. The last time Dicks did this they cancelled thousands of pre-ordered Christmas presents, talked shite about AR15s in the press, then turned around and started selling them under a new division (the Field&Stream stores).

They do not care about victims, they don't care about sportsmen, the Stack family has their heads so far up their collective asses that they are blind to all sense. All they care about is protecting the family name.

Pure damage control. They dont need the margins on the AR’s to make profit. What a bunch of pansies. “The kids rallying cry got to us”. Idiots

I havent shopped there since Newtown and still wont for sure now.

They're a publicly traded company. They have shareholders they're responsible to. Time will tell what happens to Dicks.

They did something similar after Newtown. Cancelled all customer orders for AR's and stopped selling them in stores, although temporarily obviously.

Just watched a story where a bus driver was talking on a cell phone and had a wreck and killed 6 children , I think in Georgia. So will Best Buy stop selling cell phones now?

I haven't bought one thing from
DSG or CTD since the last time they pandered to the liberal masses.

I've been in a DSG exactly 1 time since Newtown. And hated it.

So glad Huntsville has Academy now.

But it came to us that we could have been a part of this story,’’ he said. “We said, ‘We don’t want to be a part of this any longer,’” said Mr. Stack.

So Dicks was part of a murder? Talk about being brained washed by the media.

Good, I will no longer shop at Dicks.

The real question is, where are all of the rifles and mags going when they pull them off the shelves?
