Closest party boat to BR (for offshore fishing)

my uncle is coming into town from north texas and wants to take his young sons offshore just to catch some snapper. I can't fit them all on my boat and they cant afford a private charter so i recommended just a party boat since they just want to catch fish anyways, size doesn't really matter. anyone have any suggestions?

It's your boat. Tell your friends to take a hike and take your uncle and cousins out with you.

he has 3 kids, himself and his wife, and my mom/brother want to go along with him since they havent seen each other in a while. its just easier for them to go on a party boat

What about splitting the trip up? Kids one day, parents another...

would cost me at least $400, not happenin
i am going to take them inshore/tubing one day and rotate between the morning and afternoon, im not dealing with a bunch of kids offshore, that just aint happenin

best bet is to go with a charter and split the cost up

I found a party boat in orange beach for $49 a person for a 4 hour trip, I'm sure that's what they will do, I sure as he'll ain't going, if I have to go to orange beach with them ima just get tanked on the beach

Do you have to take the kids offshore? They would probably catch larger hardheads than they will find offshore on a party boat...

Yes, they have always wanted to go "deep sea fishing"

$49 a person but you will be fishing with about 100 people and lines getting tangle

honestly i dont think there are many running these days, especially in LA. Probably more likely to find them in MS and AL. Steve Tomeny runs some big boats but charges $500 a head, but includes fuel.

thats overnight Tuna trips I think.
Snapper trips are cheaper, but you have to charter the whole boat...
about $2,100 I think but he stays booked up. Especially weekend and during snapper season
