what are they excluding with poultry if a chicken can be an exception?

Can you not read? I clearly answered the question

ETA, Since you didnt see it

quote:

They are excluding poultry(And all animals, live stock and insects) used for breeding or commercial use, like they stated in the exception

To further this. If I had a rooster or sold the eggs, then the exception would not apply.

WTF were you expecting? Yes, NYC, you can have a hen, no question?

You will clearly lose for the reasons already stated in this thread and your ability to interpret rules/statutes is poor to non-existent.
Man would he be fun to cross examine or what?

the builder of the house next to me (I sold him the lot) tried to start some shite with me but I threatened to sue him for harassment and the HOA was actually on my side (more because they hated the builder).
Sounds like a pretty wholesome group there, all around.

Its a pig. What's the distinction from a normal pig in relation to the exception?

Who? Normal people? Even in NYC you can have chicken coops

It's very common in many areas. LINK

So, yes people have chickens for things other than cockfighting
The homegrown food movement is picking up steam and it's a great thing. Little herb gardens, a few vegetables, fresh eggs.

Common as pets. Not known to frequent slaughter houses.

I could also see a denial with a finding that while pot bellied pigs are common as pets, they are not the usual pets.

A hen isn't even close.

Yeah I think the most common reason for chickens is fresh eggs. I could see one being a pet though, people have all kinds of bizarre critters as pets. Not commonly though.
