I have used Ivory soap for years. it works. one advantage is that only cat's will bother it,no trash fish or turtles getting your bait.
One other note, i have never caught a flatheat on soap, only blues and channels.

My grand parents used a soap called P&G and caught plenty of fish on it. I'm not sure if it floated or not.

Seems like the perfect take out for a one plate serves all night. Huge portions. I can say this though - the fish, while strange, was way better than Anchor's. Would eat again.

Oh, and if you like chicken livers, the chicken liver box has about 47 lbs of them in it.

An older guy ate them when we went. I wanted to follow him around to see if he was going to pass out.

What's the preferred condiment for livers? I don't like catsup, but tarter seems all wrong.

You should try ketchup. It's much better.

Can you run jugs with soap, or is this more of a trot-line only method?

Question: Do you want the soap to float or not?

What is the deal with punkin seeds?

They are uniformly smaller than bluegill and easier to catch along the bank. The bright colors may add to their allure. Best op bait ever. Way better than baby buffalo.

You can run jugs with it I guess. Same idea as a trot line.
