2. Bass
3. Bream
4. Whatever fish they cook at Sam's Southern Eatery (it ain't catfish)

I can spot pond catfish meat instantly, tastes like mud to me. I don't like them. Now those nice catfish I catch in the marsh or river sure tastes great.

Do you cut the layer of fat off the top of the back? Pond catfish are fatter and if you don't get rid of the fat on top of the back it will make the fish taste weird.

You get the three fish and three shrimp and it's enough to feed me, Mrs. Tigerdeacon and Tigerdeacon Jr.

Are y'all talking about the one next to Security in Ellic? I ordered a 3 piece and got like 12. The box weighed 7 lbs.

They are everywhere . . . well at least in Shreveport and in Monroe/West Monroe too.

Yeah, you order 3 and they give you enough for three days.

The fried shrimp are good too.

I just try not to think about what kind of fish they are using or their nation of origin.

There are as many Sam's in Shreveport as there are McDonalds.

I had no idea. I thought a local convenience store owner branched out and ours was the only one. I am not as scared of it now.

this is the way they are all over I assume. You order six fried shrimp and fries and they bring you a wheelbarrow.

I know a guy at work who used to melt the ivory soap and mix liver into it. Pour in pan and let harden. Cut into cubes and use it as bait. He would do some with cheese and other foods.

My guess is snakehead. Seriously. It's way too long and slender for cat. Not mushy enough for grinnel.
