Not hardly. They kill much more than that. Just one link of many to show the damage cats do to native wildlife. I've done my part through the years to address the problem of free ranging cats. LINK

I like my neighbors, but their damn cat is always on our property. Climbing on the cars, garden, and so on. Anyone have any suggestions? I hate to be that guy, but I don't have a cat because I don't want one. TIA

Looking at the silver lining, you also likely do not have rodents or snakes around your house.
Run off the cat and you may have unintended consequenses.
We had an inside/outside cat from the time we built our house in 2004 till she died in 2013. Had neighbors with cats who frequented our yard after that till 2018.
When they died off we immediately started battling rats, as did other nearby neighbors, and saw a few snakes.
New neighbors moved in and another neighbor got another cat about 2 years ago.
No more rats since.

Moral of the story...
be careful what you wish for.

It's a fricking cat. They roam. That's what they do.

Haha. Yeah my wife got 2 kittens a year ago that are supposed to kill mice. The female has killed 2 mice in a year. 2 snakes, and a baby squirrel. The male has nothing.

My 7 year old bulldog loves them though so I guess that's OK.

Cat people think that cats should be able to freely roam anywhere they want, I disagree

I have 3 a-hole cats that frequent my yard. They've killed a few nests of birds on my deck in the past. They've also ruined our cushions on our outdoor furniture by dragging their bloody kill onto them.

I hemmed one up on my deck that's about 25 feet off the ground and dumped a bucket of water on it. It flew off the deck, had to get 30 feet of air, and kept running. Need cameras on my chairs so I can confront the neighbor with the bill for new cushions.

But more than likely, I'll just bitch about them on a message board.

I also put out three goats to mow down the wisteria and they just look at me thru the fence….screaming at me.

Bleeeeahhhaaaaaaeeeaaahh.

They don’t eat ANY wisteria.
It’s about to pull a tree down.

Your cats have killed a lot more wildlife than you know or realize. You've just a seen a FEW of the birds and small animals they've killed. Cats kill for sport, too.

Reminds me of a situation many years ago.
A neighbor came to us complaining about a cat defecating in her garden and urinating near her outdoor coffee table where they often spent their mornings.
Not our cat - our cat was indoor only.
A few days later another neighbor stopped by looking for a missing cat which we had not seen following the first neighbor's complaint.
Still a few days later, a scrawny cat was seen running out of the first neighbor's garden shed.
The cat was an indoor cat after that.
Funny thing, that cat must have been there for about six days but was not dehydrated.
Strange how that could be...
I still wonder how "accidental" that situation was, but the problem was solved.
