When I was a kid a buddy of mine had 2 Dobermans. Old lady that lived next to them had a tabby cat. They warned the old lady multiple times to keep the cat out of their yard because the dogs would kill it if they saw it. Well me and my buddy are outside playing with the dogs one day and the cat ran across the yard. Dobermans caught that cat with the swiftness. Wasn't anything we could do one dog had the head in its mouth and other had the tail. Ended badly for the cat.

Get a picture of the cat on your convertible and tell them you will send them the bill when you have to get the scratches removed from your car.

Cat owners that let their cats roam on other peoples property are straight up assholes

Doesn't warrant killing their pet. It's a cat. You're lucky to have free pest control! I mean sure, if you have ever populating cats yes that's gotta get pulled back. Having one cat and letting it be indoor/outdoor is fine, man.
Not like it can do any real damage.

Depends. I live in a rural area. Landowner next door kept a BUNCH of feral cats in his barn to keep the rats and mice from eating up all the corn in his crib. Worked fairly well for him, but not so well for me. We always had litters of feral cats overrunning our place as a result. They killed all of my native quail coveys that I had worked so hard to build up and feed. Caught several of them on top of my bluebird boxes "fishing" for the hatchlings and adults. Yeah, I solved the problem. Took me a while, but I solved the problem. Never did get my quail coveys reestablished, though.

That's a bit different, to me. I would still not kill them but I don't blame you there at all.

our local neighborhood cat sleeps in my jeep on the seats or on the ragtop all the time and has never done any damage. thought never really crossed my mind.

Gun. Shoot the cat or the owners, I won't judge. Outside cats are the trashy, they should be classified as invasive species.

Outside cats destroy local wildlife. They are invasive and destructive. Yeah, nobody is seriously going to shoot your pet, but I sure as shite would trap it and bring it to animal control, and no I would not give it back to the trashy fricker who let their cat roam outside unsupervised.

Spread cayenne pepper or Tony's all over your car. When the cat gets on the car he will get it in his fur. When he goes to bathe, he'll learn his lesson and will avoid the car.

No doubt, man. This thread has gotten weird. I apologize for doing my part to make it derail so badly with my first comment.
It's just odd to see a few people in here acting like they'll murder you for getting back at them for killing your pet. Yeah, I said I'd retaliate but I didn't say I would get violent. Jesus. Get a grip.

shoot the cat, hang its dead carcass on your neighbor's door with a sign written in blood that says YOU with an arrow pointed to the cat.
problem solved.
