Does anyone have a good treatment to get rid of carpenter bees?

Saw it suggested on here last time this came up to stuff a brown paper bag with crumpled up paper and hang it where the bees activity is. Thought it was bs, but gave it a shot and it actually worked. Got to give it a few days to a week, but they're gone and haven't come back.

The bees probably think it’s a hornets nest and get the hell out of town.

Funny, I have actually been doing that in the afternoon. I think I am batting about .200.
It is nice to hear the “ting” when I connect!! Except now my elbow is sore!

I think this is most likely.

Work on your aim with Red Ryder BB gun. It’s pretty addictive.

They do hover for a second every now and then. That would be fun.

Does nothing to them, even if you manage to get within an inch of them. Bug-a-salt guns are garbage. Get a 22 and some shot shells. Have a little fun with killing them.

Got one and yes, fun fun.

Got to get the new one that has extra power. It will not kill them, but takes out their wings.

What I normally do is shoot them a couple of times and knock them to the ground and then stomp on them
