I had the pleasure of shooting a CZ Shadow 2 Blue this weekend. It was the SA only model. I had never shot a CZ Pistol before and MAN that thing is Impressive.

Can you guys speak on the reliability? I was super accurate with is and almost no recoil in the 9mm.

Pros and Cons? Besides the $1,400 price tag

Been wanting a regular ol' p07 or p01. They definitely shoot and feel great in the hand. CZ seems to be a bit under the radar with a lot of gun folks.

Have a P07 (8 yrs old about), love it. Would love to have several other models. They make some fine weapons. Customer service is outstanding as well.

I have a CZ 75b, put some nice LOK grips on it and it’s marvelous. Shoots and looks great, no failures.

I've got the orange one, it cost around 1900, whichever that one is and it shoots great. Very smooth trigger and very accurate.

Shadow and p07 are two completely different animals. The shadow is amazing. P07 is just good.

I have several models with thousands of rounds through them and have never had a failure. They also own Dan Wesson and Colt. CZ is well known for their smooth trigger action.

Read up on the company history as it is quite interesting. During the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia, Russia nationalized the company which led to CZ having significant resources in product design and development. That was a big factor in them becoming what they are today.

Also check out Cajun Gun Works if you're seriously looking at CZ. They have a ton of upgrades and mods for every model as well as well pre-modified ones.

P01. Only issue I have had is the trigger bar screw coming loose. Cleaned it good and a drop of loctite and seems to be good to go. I did mCarbo trigger springs. cuts it from like 10/5 da/SA to like 6/3.

P-01 here

How’s the finish on the p-01 hold up to some abuse? Interested in one but not sure how it would hold up to wear compared to polymer.

Mine has a little wear on the slide edges from kaydex holsters. Daily holster and a few uspsa matches with it. I'm also not too worried about it being prestine.
