Thank ya sir. It’s been fun. Wish I had picked up the stickbow sooner.

Were you in a climber or ground stalk?

Those aluminum Easton arrows bring back memories.

congrats brother

I too tried hunting with traditional archery: recurve. I lost patience and gave up since that form of hunting is very humbling. It was Deer:12 Me:0

No wonder he got to within 18 yards. He never saw your head.

Good job on the deer, especially using a recurve. Also, good job on blacking out the faces of the younguns, that doesn't need to be on the internet. For the life of me I'll never understand people posting pics of kids, grandkids, etc. on the WWW.

What broadhead is that? It looks almost like a cutthroat but with serrations.

You must be a closet LSU fan. Purple and Gold fletching?!?!?
That's alright, lots of Ole Miss fans have a secret Tiger fetish.

Nice buck, I took up stick-bow 25 years ago and never looked back. I build my own bows and still carry them into the stand at 66 years old. It's a real accomplishment to kill a nice buck like that with a stick, Kudos!

I was in a LWCG .5. Sold my saddle. Glad I did. Saddles and longbows don’t mix.

It’s a Cutthroat 200 that I took a chainsaw file to myself. Got it down to 179 gr. More in line with the rest of quiver.

Not any blood on the ground to speak of but it did a number on him. Luckily I kept him in sight for most of his death run and heard him go down. Basically walked right up to him.

I’m colorblind so I’ll take your word for it. Fwiw the packages say “chartreuse” and “pink”

I just know I can see em!

Nice. I use an old Lone Wolf climber. It’s the quietest stand I’ve ever used.
