Remington's NRA booth in Houston, TX should be quite interesting on May 4,5,6.

$16,000 per rifle? sounds like a bribe to stay where they are to me...

$80 million is a small fraction of what an arms and ammo company will make in the next 10 years..that's hardly a bribe..

I'm not gonna sell any Remingtons I have but won't be buying any more in the future. I didn't really have any plans to anyway.

I've got multiple 870s and 700s.

Never owned an 870 and it was on the short list. Basically the only ammo I shoot too. Dang it.

Gonna have to vote with my wallet on this one.

I have been on the fence about which brand of shotgun to purchase next...this eliminated a brand that was in the running.

Hello Beretta!

Beretta makes a fine shotgun.

I love my 870s though. Was looking to get another one.

I am about to retire the A5. Although....every time I see Phil rubbing his old A5 down....I think to myself, "Just 1 more season."

Hell, people will buy Chinese junk if it is a few dollars cheaper than American made products.

I know I'm minority, but I will actually go out of my way and pay the extra $ if its American made rather than a foreign country.

AMEN.

The Mega Boot Store in Houston and I had an interesting run in when I asked for a belt. The lady smugly showed me the 10,000 belts on the wall while I was speaking...My last words, "Made in the USA." She failed. So did Cavenders.

Yeah, sometimes I just give in, b/c something are just not made here, but if I'm buying something that SHOULD be made here or is right next to the same identical item made in a foreign country, I'm buying American.
