I shoot 65#. I recommend you do too. 64 says "I'm too pussified to shoot 65# and too insecure in my manhood to shoot 60#.
jk
Competition shooters weights vary just like hunters. Used to be that 3d shooters shot the heaviest they could pull and used the lightest arrows that'd fly sorta straight trying to get all the sppeed they could muster for a flatter trajectory. Target shooters generally shoot fairly light draw bows with FAT arrows for accuracy. The fatter arrows give them a better chance of touching the bullseye on close shots.

I shoot 72. If you can't sit in a chair and comfortably draw your bow you are shooting too much weight.

Well I'm not a fairly large fellow

I usually hunted with my compounds in the low 60's. I've shot clean through deer with old, slow 45# bows when I was a kid. You don't need a lot of poundage to kill a deer. Sharp broadheads and hitting the vitals is all it takes.

I'm going to assume most people here with the #70 are over weighted

That's really going out on a limb there Salmon, considering most Louisianians are overweight.

Haven't used it in years but my old browning Vision is set at 70 lbs. Only killed a doe with a bow.

Mine is somewhere around 65 and I have 70% let-off. I am not a big fan of anything over 70% let-off as it is too much to control one's front side when letting off of high draw weights at high % let-offs while in a tree hunting.

60 with a 32.5 draw length, my bow guy said I'll get 300 fps easily.

At 29.5" and 76 lbs an online calculator says I should be getting 275-280 or so
