My first bow was a hand me down PSE Fireflight. It was 80 lbs. I was about 15. Had to point it straight up and give it all o had to get it back. Eventually got used to it.

Those old bows were hell on shoulders.

I still chuckle when I see full grown men struggling to draw a 60lb bow. What would they have done in the old days?

I shot a Spoiler Cam set on 80 lbs for years cause it would go to 80 lbs
Fricked up my shoulder & had to turn it down to 65lbs & it still was bad arse.

Still a helluva sight to see an onieda. I think that was the first wheeled bow. Do they still make those contraptions? I know the nudge likes em.

oh hell no.... i had about 2 wheels before i bought my first oneida eagle... then i moved up to the Screaming Eagle...

i would love to find some pictures of the arrows i shot in the late 60's.. you'd probly get splinters just by holding them.. they would have all rotted by now..
