The OB cam through before on a boat I was looking at near Nola. Help me price this boat.
2000 Kenner 22’ CC
Original 200 mercury saltwater motor
Tandem trailer 2007 model.
Asking 15,900 NADA appears to be about 10,000
This is the hull that is more desirable correct? Before the sale to bass pro. TIA

Yes, this is prior to selling to BPS

Tough to say because that is a desirable hull but needs a repower. I wouldn’t pay more than 12k, knowing I’m about to put a new motor on it. Probably needs a new trolling motor and depth finder too

Which Kenner?
Rolled hull or liner hull?
I think the rolled hull is more desirable but don’t quote me on that.

OP needs to look for hulls without holes in it.
That's all I got.
Those Kenner years are great.

Depends on the hull. 21 vx or 21 vision? Have any pics? Both still good hulls prior to sale to BPS.
New motor will cost approx 15. Can’t get many new 21-22 ft bay boats for u see 30k these days. If hull is good and you like it I would buy it. You could easily sell it for what you would have in it w a new motor.

Be careful with that recommendation. It is not often you can get out what you have in on a brand new repower.
However nothing says he has to repower that boat immediately. It’s just what everyone tells you you have to do because that’s the trend. Run that motor till she quits. Use your $175/yr dearie membership to toe your arse back in then repower it.
And on a boat like that. The best repower in my mind would be a 2-4 year old four stroke from any of the big three with less than about 200 hours. You’d be amazed at the price savings you can get on that when you wait for that deal and are ready to strike cash in hand.

I have a 2001 21vx (rolled edge) with a 2017 Merc 150 four stroke. It’s a good hull. If the scuppers were higher and I had a nicer tandem trailer, it would be perfect. I paid 6k for mine 4 years ago but the motor really sucked. I used it 6 or 7 times before I repowered.
Edit: yeah I have put a new trolling motor, a jack plate, a new motor, a leaning post, and I’m sure more crap into it. I would definitely be in the red if I sold it. It works great for me and I have a reliable fishing machine for cheaper than anything comparable on the used market at the time.

Looks like rolled hull. Has the splatter paint on the inside. Working on posting a picture.

Amen brother. Nothing saying that motor won’t last forever if it is taken care of. And unless you just gotta have a new one a 5 year old outboard is soooooo much money.

Bought a 2001 21’ Vision with a 2017 200 Yamaha with 30 hours on it for $21.5k 2 years ago for reference.

What about the price of a 2008 Legend, all bells and whistles in great condition, with matching EZLoader custom Welded trailer, near 500 hours, new power head?

I just sold my boat today. I am not sure about where you are but around here it's definitely a seller's market.
