What spray do yall use and recommend? Looking for something to hose down SxS and boat after using on the coast. I have ‘Salt’s Gone’ on hand but open to other options.

Fresh water rinse asap. Salt away doesn’t hurt either.

Hot fresh water works great.

Just stop at that station in Larose, there’s a car wash next to it.

I pressure wash on the way home, and flush motor with muffs as soon as I get home... 3 hrs from Grand Isle

Yep, I wash mine at a carwash on the way home or do it in the driveway as soon as I get home. I use Star Brite and a good scrub brush.

I'll get the name of the stuff we use and text you this weekend, we usually at a bare minimum give it a good rinse and most times hit it with some stuff in a foam cannon and you saw what ours looked like this weekend for having been down on the island for damn near 2 years straight. Definitely suggest getting a cover too.

Benefits of living close to fresh water.
Stop on the way home at the fresh water launch, back the boat in (leave on trailer). Run the engine and left flush

I wash mine down after every trip of course with fresh water. I put the brush on it most times because we make a mess. As for salt away? I use it one or two days a week on my boat and trailer as well as flush the engine with it.

I started with the name brand "Salt Away" but now i just buy the gallon jugs of stuff from Walmart of look for a Amazon sale for a gallon jug. I think it all seems to work pretty well.

I use dish soap and some degreaser on sxs. A leaf blower is the key. You have to get the water off even after it's cleaned. It will rust where water pools up if it stays on the island.
I don't bring boat down as much but still clean it with a scrub brush and some boat soap. Run on muffs and run hose in motor also. I don't like to use dish soap on boat as it takes off wax coating.

Would like to know if there are any products that actually work.
