except it is a 44mm objective. you're giving up a ton of light gathering capability by not going 56mm. Dont short yourself.

The more knobs, more complicated the reticle, the better the glass. It's a war again the deers.

I'd recommend a Weaver K6.

You understand that the extra objective is only used at the top range of magnification right?

You do understand that if you look thru a papertowel tube and a 5 gal bucket which one with have more light refraction correct? no matter the magnification. This was put to bed two decades ago and you wanna talk about it in 2022. We don't send our sniper groups to war with a 40mm anymore just like the US calvary no longer has horse mounted infantry.

I have a 36mm objective on a 1" tube and I can see deer and my crosshairs well before / after shooting hours. Im not sure why yall think you need better than that. Its just wasted size and weight and money and mount height.

Don't saddle yourself with a big arse telescope for no usable reason.

I don't think I'd call some of those lightweight! That being said, both my 6.5 PRC and 300 win mag have NF's on top. I know after being beaten around out west on horseback they will shoot true. The swaro and MK5 would be 2nd. Steiner down the list. If you can deal with 30oz on top of the rifle, I will always go with NF.

That looks sweet. So you’re at about 3k with that setup?

eta: I have the same bar stools. They came with my wife and the matching pub table.

Yeah I’ll be right around $3200 with rifle, scope, rings, and cherry bomb muzzle brake.

The bar stools came with my fiancé

Great looking setup! I am looking at the same one right now. I cant decide between the Swaro Z5 or Z6. I wonder is its enough difference for $800 price difference.
