Hey kids, let's go get ice cream since our truck with 170 miles isn't in the shop with a transmission leak. That extra .3 extra inches of leg room tho!!!

Deflect deflect deflect! The only decent thing about the Tundra (look at how many bragged about its rear passenger room), and it's not even the largest!
Again, I'm happy you like your truck. I hope that your investment treats you well when you resell.

There are plenty of decent things about the Tundra. That's just one of them. There are plenty of decent things about all of them, everyone makes a pretty good truck. I just know that mine won't be in the shop.

Hey, not nice.
Not a transmission issue, but a radiator hose with a hole in it. It could happen to any manufacturer. Right?

Sorry, low hanging fruit. Glad it's just a hose.

They are having to order it from Ford, said it could take a few days. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Ford quality cannot be found at Autozone. Not sure if thats good or bad. Bad.

No, I agree with that. Was just assuming a radiator hose would be in stock at a large dealer, or another dealer in the area, and wouldn't have to wait for it to ship from Detroit.

5.0, 3.5, 2.7? Regardless, odd that they dont have it. Apparently its the exception, not rule of issues.

5.0. I am not ready to trust the eco boost engines.

Thats why I went with the 6.2 in my '11. After 5 years of them being on the road, I got the 3.5 in my '15.
Second gen 3.5 comes out in 2017. I will get one in 2020, maybe.

Smart. One thing I have learned, never buy the 1st generation (year) of anything, new body style, power train, etc.
