Looking to buy a new 12 gauge before duck season, and was looking at the super vinci. I like how light weight the gun is, any thoughts?

I have it and plan to sell it before next hunting season. It shoots great and what not but the way the trigger guard is cuts some peoples finger when they shoot, mine included.

I shoot one and have never had a problem with the trigger guard, but that's the complaint I hear the most. Ive had mine for 4 years and the action is flawless. Shoulders great and the inertia drive kicks arse.

My buddy has the Vinci. It is easier to clean the SBE II

If I am throwing around Super Vinci money, I would lean toward the Beretta with Kick-off or even the SBE II. I have a Super Vinci and although it is a great gun, I go with my Beretta almost 100% of the time. The Vinci just doesn't fit me that well.

I have shot vinci a few times at skeet range and really liked, it’s the only benelli that fits me well, SBE etc length of pull is too long, especially w/ heavy coats. I shoot beretta urika (a 391 w/ KO) and the vinci is the only benelli I would consider getting because it fits, the SBE etc are great guns but I wouldn’t shoot them well. My suggestion is find a B gun that fits you, try and shoot it a few times and buy it. You may be able to see if the trigger guard impacts you as well, my uncle had a helluva time w the trigger guard on an 870 it beat his finger up, he now shoots a SBE, no issues. I have shot a maxus at the range and it fits well and I liked it too. Do I like either better than a beretta – probably not.

I have a SBE II as well, and I absolutely love it. My brother just got a Super Vinci, but I have not shot it yet. However, I do like the feel of the SBE II a little more. You won't go wrong with Benelli. Great shooting guns.

Smoothest shooting gun I've ever shot. I haven't ponied up and bought one yet, but I steal my brother's. Awesome gun.

If you can't test out a bunch of the guns you can go to the store and shoulder the gun with your eyes closed. When you open your eyes, see which one fits you better. When I got my SBE 2, the Xtremas were a little cheaper and came with $300 in beretta bucks so I was leaning toward that gun until I did this. I realized that Benelli's raised rib fit my eye better vs. the beretta where I saw too much of the top part of the barrel so I wouldn't have been as accurate. Get the gun that fits you best and you'll be happy.
