had an hour golf lesson last week in the full sun. We didn't even work on full swing - just drills for weight shift. I was on the verge of heat exhaustion after that. I also ave to take Thyroid medication so I'm more susceptible to heat issues.

My golf group only play nine this time of year - we don't move to 18 until its consistently in the 80's

I've read that heat exhaustion / stroke gets worse the more times you experience it, sort of like snake bites. Each time you get it, you become more succeptible to it in the future.

Yes.

I feel susceptible and start to get funny feelings a lot earlier than i used to. I go grab a bottle of water and chill out. It's not worth getting sick.

Fished in the gulf Sunday and it was brutal. By 11:20 we were whooped and both are only 67. Two quarts of water and no pissing. Slight dizzy moment but got off the water just in time.

I ain't saying its hot because someone will think they are being attacked for their political views but it has seemed hot to me this summer. I haven't worked past 2 pm at the sawmill since mid-May - I have white oak, walnut and cherry stacking up but damn if ain't been hot...to me...I am not remotely suggesting its actually been hot. There have been a couple of times this summer when I was BEAT when I did knock off....cause its been hot TO ME....

all snarkiness aside y'all be careful....once you have had an issue you are likely to have more of them and they can get worse with each one. I don't know why and I don't know that it ain't BS but experts seem to agree if you have had problems you are more likely to have future problems...

This at a very minimum. Also I've found as I got older that water alone was not enough, so I began carrying a couple of large powerade/electrolyte drinks as well and make sure and finish them. I bounce back much better

Just as bad today. I put a new bed cover on the truck this morning in our shop, thinking the heat wouldn't be that bad early and out of the sun. Still sweated buckets.
