So, I guess that report was inaccurate. Looking down the list, I see some 2 fish stringers weighing in at less that 2 lbs....Damn!

Agree. Some of it is so thick that you could not walk through it. Its funny though.

In my 40 years of bass fishing tournaments and close to 4000 guide trips that I have taken, I have heard it all. Never be surprised what a fisherman will tell you

I think Bossier City must've been where they started building I-20 in the 1950's??? Those old get-on ramps off Airline and Old Minden Road were short as frick, too, you best be wound up and hammer down when trying to merge.

I could ask my Dad tomorrow evening for the exact dates if ya like. He surveyed for I-20 from between Haughton and Minden to East of Ruston. Had to have been 1957-1958, maybe starting late '56. He was in charge of the dam for Benton's water supply after that.

When I was born he had relocated to Winnfield as middle of the territory he was supervising. He used to mark maps with the game quantity and type he observed traveling site-to-site all over central LA. Had prize winning bird dog he'd take hunting every weekend of the seasons. Kept our freezer full of fish and fowls and meats. Broke his heart to give away that dog when we moved to Florida when he quit working for the state and went into private industry.

I'll put you on fish... The rest is up to you. If I don't think you have the talent to win I will charge an extra $500 at the end of the guided trip to make up for my 25% lost.
