Anyone going to watch the pro anglers this weekend at Red River South Marina in Shreveport, LA?

I was out there today watching for a few hours. Below is a quick clip of the action.

You decide not to take their money this year?

I've been guiding on the river multiple times this summer. BASS says I have an unfair advantage

Why does the guy in the video say "bassmaster classic"?

That's me filming the video. Whoever wins the Open gets a free ticket to the bass master classic... I apologize

You need to fire up that cholo grill and put some wieners on it!

Did you see that Lazy J's Bluegrass was going up for sale this weekend and a new measurement will be taken tomorrow?

Drove I-20 today and almost rattled my brain to death. God bless you poor souls that have to drive that every day

I think Bossier City must've been where they started building I-20 in the 1950's??? Those old get-on ramps off Airline and Old Minden Road were short as frick, too, you best be wound up and hammer down when trying to merge.

I did notice a stickered-up sparkle boat fishing the point at Cross Bayou and Red R a while ago. And good for them the river's low and clear this go round.

Yeah I bumped my thread on the OT about it this morning. It faded pretty quick. Go give me another bump for the night crew, big dawg.

I have never heard of them saying that. Are you saying BASS would not accept your registration?

That is very odd

Well it's complicated. They would, but then again they wouldn't. I am close friends with the TD, we both agreed that most anglers would be happier with me not fishing it this go around

I have been guiding for over 20 years on a lake and have fished BASS and FLW events here. I have also won a Tour event here. Never had one single issue signing up for a major event

Plenty of other guides have fished and won events on the lakes they guide on. Which is why your statement was strange to me

It's strange because it's complete and utter shite.

I'm on the river a couple hours south of Shreveport and have had a lot of traffic around here recently. Surprised they'd be venturing so far south.

Rooting for Charlie. I met him at the classic in 2008 on Hartwell.

Very nice guy.
