About to start cooking a chili with the leftovers of a brisket I did last weekend. I have a bottle of wild turkey and a 6 pack of techeticles.

I went to the ER in Opelousas today....that was interesting. All the urgent cares were closed.

Taking the wife out to eat now that she’s recovered from a tonsillectomy... Gonna pound a couple bourbons, then pound her.

Bulk of the storm will be in the delta tomorrow so I’ll be camped out around the house. Probably going to cook a good breakfast and just throw some pepper jack and pineapple sausage on the grill tomorrow afternoon.

Hope this thing doesn’t frick up our corn and cotton too much. I’m all for a good solid 4 incher, but please not 8-12.

Have some boudin, so going to attempt some cajun Scotch Eggs.

Should be interesting.

Smoked some snapper last night for a dip. Been snacking on that chit all day. Jucifers flowing with the rain.

I’m in sunny Dallas and just threw some Brussel sprouts in the oven. Got sausage, a NY strip and some Fallow Deer filets prepped for the grill.

Currently enjoying some TX whiskey and TopoChico, will probably hit the wine soon.

You have piqued my interest with this, so now I'm going to try this tomorrow with some spicy deer breakfast sausage. Redneck Scotch Eggs I guess.

Better than whitetail maybe as good as Axis which I put at or sometimes better than beef.

Got some Blackbuck too. It’s good but tough.
