Raceland, wind gusts got pretty good last night and this morning. I much prefer rain than wind where i am. Bud light and smoked bbq chicken sammiches.

It’s little spring mechanism, I guess it’s supposed to help if you drop the lid on the way down so it doesn’t slam as hard. The hinge is spring loaded too. It’s a Pitboss from Costco, $600 and I’ve been very happy with it so far.

Sounds about right. I’ve braced for 5-85mph winds as well.

Purple haze and burgers here in N. MS. It’s HOT. Just sent about a dozen arrows down range while the kids were napping. I’ll be surprised if we don’t get some storms this evening.
