My grandpa has declared jihad on those critters for years. The only ones left are straight up ninjas. It’s been a few years since the traps have been productive.

Finally got one this morning with .22. I want to mount it for him. Something tasteful, but also representative of the long battle to bring the majestic creature down.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Idk how many people will actually want to handle it because of leprosy and such...

I definitely wouldn't want to handle one. Just kill them

Can't you just buy a pre-taxidermid armadillo off the internet?

Always found it funny when you saw a dead armadillo on road belly up with feet sticking in air and someone would put a beer bottle in its feet

Wouldn’t do the endeavor justice.

It was getting to the point where I was going to get my nephew and his buddies to camp out over there when my grandparents were gone. I was going to provide the beer of course.

My grandmother won’t even walk in her yard because of all the divots.

We used to have 1 just like that with a Corona bottle behind the bar I worked at.

Apparently that "wouldn't do the endeavour justice" or whatever...

Dude has been getting some great advice but he insists on poo-pooing all over them.

I believe the red eyes are a dead giveaway of leprosy.

In this case I think it reflects the diabolical cunning of the beast.

willeaux! Good to see you bud!

I like the idea of mounting one that you chased for a while.

Have him sitting up with his nose in the air and one paw raised.

How’s everything been?

Man. I thought googling armadillo taxidermy pictures would be a gold mine. I was pretty disappointed with the selection of ideas though.

When I was a kid there was an armadillo basket that existed. It was like on it's back with the tail curled beneath(actually over it)it that was the handle.
