I’m looking into helm pads for my cc boat. I think I’m going to go with the Nauti Padz brand but before I do I want to see if anyone else knows of any other good options? I’ve been blessed with a shite back and therefore can’t sit while operating the boat.

No experience with those, but a good pair of shoes can make a huge difference.

I’ve been using shoes and sandals and they work obviously but I like to be barefoot when not operating so trying to eliminate the taking on/off/finding part between runs

Just ordered my dad a custom Helm Pad from Castaway Customs. Will have the Kenner logo in the middle. Will post a pic when it comes in

Did you have to call them with what you wanted?

I have one and I love it. Like another poster said, I like to be barefoot on the boat.

It was like $250 for an 18x39" pad.
Two colors and logo.

I did just to talk about some things but they had me fill out the custom helm pad inquiry on their website and the rest was done through email after that.

Just surprised anyone still has the Kenner logo. I’d like to see it when done.

I've had this one for a few months so no report on it's wear yet, but it's heavy enough not to blow out while trailering. I didn't want one that I had to glue down, just in case wore prematurely, etc. It's nice and thick. Make sure whatever you buy is cushy enough to actually help you.

I bought it based on thehulltruth recommendations and pleased so far. Not sure if they do custom logos though.

I digitized the kenner logo for my dads helm pad done by gulf coast aqua traction in central. I will be getting it from him this week.

he also did my helm pad for my frontier. its night and day difference.

look them up on facebook gulf coast aqua traction or the website.

Maybe try using a few velcro strips instead of gluing, that a way you can take it out if you wanted to

Seadek does custom pads. If you simply ask if they have any discounts available, they will give you 10% off just for asking.

I ordered seadek for my towerboat a few months ago. I don't have it installed yet because my boat is currently at the shop getting my new motor installed. I will post pics once I install it though.

I have used seadek on all my sight casting platforms and it holds up great. It's a little pricey but u get what u pay for. 3 year warranty is standard on all their stuff I believe.

Good idea, but I like it not secured. Easy to clean under it, and if it tears up, I'll pick another route. Its not going anywhere unless someone takes it... and I aint saying that aint gonna happen either.

I use a kitchen anti fatigue may from Costco, best $30 investment on my CC.
