I bought a AT4 with 3.0 diesel but wanted the tundra. I’m in the woods almost everyday and couldn’t get over how low the tundra sits and doesn’t have recovery hooks. I would have had to do some work to it and decided to go GMC. I love it so far, but will probably go back to Toyota when this one wears out.

I could only dream of that MPG. I get 14.5 in my 5.7.

That's exactly what I get in my 5.7 also. Fuel mileage sucks but I just can't bring myself to buy a new truck right now.

Y’all would be crazy to dump your v8 Tundras.

My next truck will be a 3/4 ton diesel. I can't say it's a justifiable amount, but I do need a 3/4 ton relatively frequently. I'm not downgrading to a 6 cylinder.

I have a 06 V8 Double Cab limited I got a few years ago from my dad who didn't drive it much. It currently has 97K miles. I'm driving that Tundy until it dies. The 06 Tundra replaced a much newer F150 I was driving.

really want a new truck but since I decided to back my 18 tundra into the tree in the middle of the night I kinda lowered the resale a little bit... Plus overall its a dang good ride!

Does it have Carplay/Android Auto? May sound trivial, but I could never have another truck without those.

I like CarPlay too, plus HD Radio and dictating text messages and so on. That's why I installed new electronics in my 04 Tundra. $600 for a Pioneer system was better than buying a new Tundra.

For those of you who have bought a new one, how do you like the 6 with the turbo? What kind of mileage are you getting?

I have 33” tires on mine and I’m getting 18-19 mpg.
I was a concerned about the power of the engine prior to getting it but not since. The engine has a ton of power and no turbo lag at all.
The alternator went out on my son’s Sequoia. I towed it on a car hauler trailer to his grandfather’s friend a couple of hours away. The truck had plenty of power and I got 12 or 13 mpg.

My 1999 Chevy has Carplay thanks to a $200 purchase at Best Buy.

Bought a 2023 Limited with TRD package in June. Has more power than my 2010 Raptor. Was thoughtful about the turbos but my local dealership gives a 10 year, 200,000 mile bumper to bumper that includes turbos.

Would not have spent money on a Tundra prior to 2022 with the new body style. Ugly as sin to me.

As far as MSRP, they had a special offer on this one and it was $7000 under MSRP. In today’s market, sometimes MSRP is the best you get. What I refused to do was pay the “market adjustment” so many places had. Have purchased 3 new vehicles since December and all under MSRP; none with “market adjustment”.

“market adjustment”

I've been passively shopping for a new vehicle, and the dealership where I bought my last two vehicles has a $3k market adjustment on everything.

If I decide to purchase, and they won't come off of it, I'm going down the street and applying that $3K to a slightly nicer ride.

Thanks.
33" tires? Never heard of that before.
I average between 15 and 17 with my 4.7 liter V8. I have gotten as high as 20, but that requires me to do about 65 or lower on the interstate.
I once towed a Volvo on a car hauler with no problem and got a little over 13.
Mine does have a tonneau cover on the back, which helps a bit with the aerodynamics.
Turbos add a level of complexity and are something else to go wrong, but Toyota usually doesn't release power plant stuff unless it has proven reliable.

The engine had been in the Land Cruiser overseas for a few years.

Does anyone know if the larger screen only available in the Limited trim on up?

What does TSS package include vs TRD vs TRD offroad?

Seems like there is multitude of variation.

Mine is a 2021, but you can negotiate now. The turbo v6 waste gate issue was a supplier issue, that has been resolved for a while.

You can actually get the 14 inch screen on certain SR5 packages.
